Summary

&quot;The Devil Wears Prada&quot; tells the story of Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway). She has recently graduated from college with a degree in journalism and heads to New York City to find a job. She lands one, as the assistant of uberboss Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), the editor of a major fashion magazine. Andy is clueless about fashion and struggles to fit in the workplace. In addition, Miranda works her for hours and accomplish seemingly impossible tasks, like getting a copy of the final Harry Potter novel for her children. Andy starts to fit in at work and begins to like work but it leads her to miss important events with her boyfriend and other close friends.
